You're still looking at really great odds on winning prizes! In fact, as of right now we have as many prizes as we have people who have donated... I'd call that great odds!
The Fine Print
1) After the drawing is over, all prizes won will be posted on this site and all prizes will be final. No trading or exchanging will be allowed. Prizes have no cash value.
2) Bears for Claire are available worldwide... anyone anywhere is welcome to donate.
3) Bears (tickets) will be given to you after a donation is made towards our adoption fund. A $5.00 donation gets you 1 bear. You can get 3 bears for $10 and 8 bears for $25. Each additional $25 gets you 8 more bears.
4) We will accept donations until 5:00 on August 30th. There is no limit to the number of bears you may receive and there will be no limit on the number of bears "sold".
5) After your donation is made towards our adoption fund, we will both create a "virtual" bear that will be posted on this site as well as a small paper cutout bear. The paper cutout bear will have your name written on it and that is what will be used for the drawing on August 30th. If you want the actual paper cutout bear after August 30th, send a self addressed stamped envelope to Bears for Claire, 8405 Foxworth Trail, Powell, TN 37849.
6) We will contact all winners within 24 hours of the end of the contest. We will personally deliver all prizes to winners in the Knoxville area and winners outside our area will receive their prizes in the mail within 7 days. We will cover all shipping costs.
7) Donations are not tax deductible due to this being a private adoption.
8) The prize drawing on August 30th will be webcast here on this site but you do NOT have to be watching the webcast to win the prizes. We hope you will watch though... it will be a lot of fun.
9) The spirit of this website is meant to be a place where people can donate for our cause and help bring Claire home. However, it is not mandatory to donate to receive a bear. Anyone who wants a bear for free may have one and can request one simply by mailing a request to "bears for claire" 8405 foxworth trail, powell, tn 37849. When you request free bears, you will be given the number of entries equal to the average entry at the conclusion of the sign up period. So for example, if 20 people have donated 100 bears total, the average would be 5 bears per person and you will be given 5 bears in the contest.
